I remember this game. It was awesome. We would play this in the office of a pizza parlour (while we we're working, taking turn's each on multiplay). We used steering wheel and pedals. I edited the skins of the cars so we all had our own customised look/name on the back.

It always came up with the message "Johnny Herbert is out of the race". Poor Johnny (Legend).

Sorry, I watched a GP1 YT Vid link straight after this GP2 and forgot I was still on the same page. I've since copied my first comment to the GP1 vid linked on this web site. :-| – tuwun0 10-Aug-2013
I absolutely loved this game on the A500. It really got you hooked. I think Brake Balance, F & R Wing Angles, Tire Selection & Fuel / Pit Stop Strat were the entire setup options available, but they still required a bit of a learning curve to get the most out of your car; and the 16 circuits had their unique characteristics & demands so that you had to learn the tracks in order to tweak the best setup for each . This together with the fact that the game was virtually full polyon environment, made this an amazing F1 Racing Sim, and a fantastic departure from the usual arcade style experience of F1 racing games around at that time.

Simple compared to the more recent offerings, but still a game that can offer a good fun & modestly challenging race experience. This was & is a classic and for me its still a 10 out of 10. – tuwun0 10-Aug-2013
