edit english.txt for all the names.

edit the graphics in your BMP (and some others) folders.

use lexx' editor to change some hardcoded values.

start a game, save it, and change your savegame till your satisfied.

Cars are being made though, in the tutorial thread... so that is a good start... and a very appreciated try... which is better than nothing

Lexx, there's no need to be sarcastic, man :D - anyway I guess nobody knows how tough is it better than you :)

I think this community owes a lot to him, not only for his great 2005 patch but also for allowing us to build new updates with his great and unique editor (for me).

The 2006 update I would like to make wouldn't be possible without Lexx's editor, I would like to say a big thank you :)

Lexx maybe you may want to join in? It would be a privilege to count with your experience and abilities! :) :)

Greetings!

I would be so happy if you made a 2006 Patch for GPW.... I#M playing it with the old datas from 1998 and it makes a lot of fun... But surely it would be better if there were a new update.... I'm looking forward to hear News from you.....

I would agree, pal! :D

I'm trying to set up a bb that might serve as a mean to share our work, track progress, etc... it could be a place where everyone could freely contribute. Dunno if it would be a good idea?

Cheers!

Postby Lexx » Wed Apr 05, 2006 5:26 am

Hehe , Good luck to anyone who does try to make one. Currently my system isnt liking my VS 6 setup and trying to convert my editor to VS.Net really made me realize im still not ready for .Net lol
I rewrote about half the editor so it was much cleaner, but havent touched it in months.

Anyways, GL to anyone whos doing a 2006 :)
