Soundblaster.com have posted an interview with Tim Bartlett, the audio manager at Codemasters, in which they talk about Colin McRae Rally 04 and other racing games in general.

Q9. Which CMR4 car has your favourite sound set?

Well, anyone who knows the game really well might be able to guess! The reason for this is that I sneakily decided to switch engine sets (compared to the console versions) so that on PC, the Citroen Xsara now uses my favourite set. There is a long version of this story, but in a nutshell, unfortunately Citroen did not allow us to record the Xsara.
