Colin Mcrae 4.0 Canned for PC and PS2 in North America?

According to our friends at Motorsportgaming.com, Colin McRae Rally 04 has been canned for the PC and PS2 in North America and will be an Xbox only release.

In a surprise move, Codemasters have decided to cancel the PS2 and PC versions of Colin McRae Rally 4 in North America and instead have opted for a XBOX exclusive agreement.

The new XBOX version of McRae is expected to be fully xbox live enabled with online rallies, scoreboards and arcade modes.

Today, Sales Curve Interactive (SCI) have released a trailer for Richard Burns Rally, which includes 2mins and 16seconds of in-game footage. The movie is around 26mb in size, and can be downloaded from here.

Mercedes-Benz World Racing Hockenheim Demo Released

Synetic have released a new demo for Mercedes Benz World Racing, in which you can drive around the Hockenheim track using a Mercedes SL230 Kompressor. The demo weighs in at around 60MB, and can be downloaded from here.

GameAxis have posted a review of NASCAR Thunder 2004 giving it 7.5 / 10.0:

Not only does NASCAR Thunder 2004 feature remarkable physics modeling, AI and graphics, it also recreates one of the best racing sim in NASCAR history to date. That includes 60 real NASCAR drivers (from Brett Bodine to Ryan Newman), 23 tracks from the Winston Cup circuit (incorporating weather alterations) and a whooping 42 cars (from Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet and Pontiac) all individually detailed down to the most meticulous mechanical variances and decal placements.
