Jolt Gaming have posted a preview of TOCA Race Driver 2:
Before we had advanced physics modelling, it would have been difficult to get such a variety of vehicle types in a single game, but the flexibility of the new Race Driver engine allows for some real variety when it comes to vehicle performance. The physics engine goes hand-in-hand with Codemasters' Terminal Damage engine. Doing what it says on the tin, Terminal Damage will cause your car to become totally wrecked to the point of complete failure. At least, it will if you drive it with carefree abandon. You can read the full preview here and don't forget to view our game profile.

Techland today have released 10 new screenshots for Xpand Rally, complete with the following explanation to accompany them.

The game introduces stages consisting of one of eight types of surfaces as well as of mixed characteristics. Players will be able to test their skills on both: long straights during incredibly fast trials and difficult curves where driving technique is the key.
Graphics in Xpand Rally has been prepared to realistically simulate conditions on real racing special stages. Driving through dense European forests on narrow gravel roads, on snowy asphalt of icy North or in wilds of dry Africa - these are just examples of game's attractions. Starts happening at various day times will additionally make every ride in the game diverse and every track looking exceptionally each time it is seen.
The diversity of tracks and environments in the game is presented on new screenshots. Techland points out that in some game modes the player will be able to move on the terrain without any restrictions which makes the number of available tracks virtually infinite and is something innovative in the game's genre.

Boomtown have posted a review of Live For Speed giving it 9/10:
When all is said and done, Live for Speed represents a fascinating experiment in the land of computer gaming and top notch value for anyone who's enthusiastic about online racing. While the single player side is a bit thin, it's been obvious from the game's inception that it exists mainly as a training ground to prepare players for the online experience. You can read the full review here and don't forget to view our game profile.
