IndyCar Series Released on PS2 and XBox

Codemasters have just sent us details that Indycar Series has just been released on PS2 and XBox:

The fastest race on earth - IndyCar Series, the official video game of the gruelling US open-wheel championship, is now available on PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

IndyCar Series delivers a full racing season, including the Indianapolis 500 (Indy 500) race, "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing" and features adrenaline-fuelled, ultra-close pack racing, with up to 33 cars racing on track.

Battle it out with the best drivers in the league including newly crowned winner of the 87th Indianapolis 500 - Gil de Ferran.

Sports Car Racing Mod Review at SpeedSims

SpeedSims have posted a review of the Sports Car Racing 2002 modification for F1 2002.

Overall this is a great mod, and one that I will most likely end up playing a lot more than GTR, simply because it is more fun. The feedback from the car is just phenomenal. Feedback is something I miss in GTR. Once the car starts to move on you in GTR, it's unlikely you'll be able to recover it which for me means a lot of time in the wall or gravel trap. Put simply, SCR is head and shoulders above everything but GTR, with which I think SCR comes about even or slightly better than.

F1 Career Challenge '99-'02 Released in Netherlands

According to High Gear, F1 Challenge 1999 - 2002 has been released in the Netherlands.

Still no official news on a UK / Pan-European / USA release date, Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk still do not list the game for the PC.
