GP3 File Updates

Since Grand Prix 4 has now been released, I suspect most people will now move away from Grand Prix 3 and onto that. Unfortunately that means there will probably be fewer Grand Prix 3 files submitted to me, and as a result fewer posted here. However, I will post them as I get them.

It's a bit sad for me really, as I expect there will not be all that many updates to this site anymore, and this site was my first "real" one on the internet (before it evolved into SimRacingWorld). Anyway, if you've got GP4, join us over at F1GrandPrix4.com!

F1 Driving Cockpit Preview at DrivingItalia

DrivingItalia have posted a preview of an "F1 Cockpit" for use with F1 Games, the preview is in Italian and i've no idea what this says but i'll quote it anyway!

Fino ad oggi giocare con F1 2001 o GPL è sempre stato piacevole ma mai abbastanza, un monitor, un volante, una pedaliera e poi? La solita scrivania o tavolo, la solita sedia o poltrona, i più audaci si sono procurati un vero sedile d’auto o addirittura si sono costruiti la loro postazione! L’importante non è il mezzo ma il fine ultimo: emulare al meglio la vera posizione di guida per meglio integrarsi ed immergersi totalmente con l’esperienza virtuale! Non basta dunque il solo volante per soddisfare il nostro “istinto primordiale”. Alcuni produttori più o meno artigianali da parecchio tempo a questa parte si sono cimentati per offrirci molto più della solita poltroncina…
