As the excitement builds towards Sports Car Racing 2002's expected June 13th, 2003 release date, Speedsims have been speaking to one of the developers, Mika Hirvonen about some aspects of the F1 2002 modification.

I'm Mika Hirvonen and responsible for most of the car models in Sports Car Racing. All the cars I've made for this project are special to me in one way or the other but to keep this short I've picked three cars and will try to explain why.

Audi R8 - I'm a big Audi fan and if I had the money I definetly would buy one. The R8 base model dates back before RSDG and I think you could actually say it's the oldest car model in SCR... though I doubt no one could seen it's age unless it had been mentioned here. Obviosly the model been updated many times and there is very little left from the original mesh I made. As far as I know all the SCGT and F1 200x Audi R8s are based on this model. The latest update made to the R8 was the new cockpit and steering wheel...
