F1 2002 (PC) Review at GamePen
Reviews/Previews | By Paul on 27 July 2002 16:02

GamePen have posted a review of F1 2002 (PC), awarding it 4.5/5.0 - with a "numb thumb" award.

With that said, EA Sportsí F1 2002 is the best F1 sim to date. Featuring true to life physics and tight gripping gameplay, itís only weakness lies in the insanely astronomical system requirements. Iím not kidding, this is the type of game that can bring most mid to high-end systems to their knees. Running on a P4 1.5 ghz, 512 MB Ram and a Geforce 3 Ti200 I average frame rates in the high teens to the low 20ís. When opponents surrounded me, the fps dropped down to the single digits, ouch.
