Live For Speed is being developed by a team of enthuisasts. They are trying to create the most relastic racing simulator. As they say:-

Our goal is to create the best racing sensation available today with very realistic physics, graphics, sound and smooth multiplay on the internet or a local network. We have released a test demo that is available for download at www.liveforspeed.net. Since it's release in august 2002, Live for Speed has proved to be doing what we have focussed on: Bringing realistic, intense and fun driving on the pc for everyone. We have noticed this by the massive feedback through mail, forum boards and even third party applications have been and are already being made. We will continue developing Live for Speed for a long time to come and try to make it the most realistic simulated driving experience ever.
