Grand Prix 2 is the second game in the grand-prix-series by Geoff Crammond, and like F1GP, it has be programmed almost entirely by Geoff himself. When the original game F1GP was released it was far ahead of it's time, however, in 1996 when Grand Prix 2 was released it was light years ahead of it's time and dealt a heavy punch in the face for other F1 sims around at the time. The game isn't perfect, it doesn't contain wet-weather or stop & go penalties, but this does not stop it from being an excellent simulation. Even now in 2001, this game still has the ability to amaze people who play it for the first time.
