Race Driver: GRID 2 is the long awaited sequel to Race Driver: GRID which was released in 2008.

The game has been under development for more than two years, and it will include 'TrueFeel', which is a half-way-house between realism and playability, although it will not feature a traditional cockpit view (Codemasters claim only 5 percent of players use this view).

There will be a number of locations around the world - currently Indianapolis Motor Speedway, California, Algarve, Cote d'Azur and Chicago are confirmed, as well as a career mode to race AI cars. Confirmed cars include World-Series-Racing vehicles, BMW Motorsport 320 Touring Car, Chevrolet Cruze Touring Car, Mercedes SLS AMG GT3, and the 1997 McLaren F1 GT amongst others.
