Assetto Corsa will feature a DirectX 11 graphics engine, modding support, fully licensed cars from various racing series, laser scanned tracks, and the ability to race both online against human opponents and offline against computer AI.

Development of the game has been funded by the release of previous titles; netKar Pro & Ferrari Virtual Academy. The game will include ten tracks (currently confirmed are Magione & Monza), and will be sold for a fixed price offering unlimited multiplayer.
