F1 2010 is the next game in the multi-year F1 franchise deal from Codemasters. It is be based on the 2010 Formula One season and is due to be released just before the Korean Grand Prix in September.
Whilst F1 2009 was only released on the PSP and Nintendo Wii, F1 2010 will be released across multiple formats including PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and PSP. The console and PC versions will feature full HD graphics, and will be aimed at both arcade and simulation fans alike.
Unlike previous F1 / racing games, Codemasters have tried to re-invent the Formula One game by offering an extensive career mode which is heavily influenced by your on-track results, where you will be able to comment to the press, engage in contract negotiations and much more. This has resulted in the game slogan "Be the driver, live the life". Codemasters also claim to have the best weather system ever seen in any racing game with the track conditions individually modelled every 30cm.
There are several hundred staff working on the game, and the fact that Codemasters have been working closely with real Formula One teams, there are high hopes for the title.
