Need for Speed: Shift title is the first Need for Speed title in quite some time to be released from a new developer; Slightly Mad Studios; who formed out of the remains of Blimey! Games, known for their part in the development of GTR, GT Legends & GTR 2. The game features over 60 individual cars, and 18 real and fantasy tracks from around the world, including the legendary Nordschleife circuit. The Need for Speed franchise has now sold over 100 million copies worldwide, making it the best selling racing franchise in the world.

Thanks to some common elements from the GTR series, sim racers will be pleasantly surprised by some of the physics and handling, as well as the fact it is possible to modify aspects of the game to make it more realistic by using some of the files available from our downloads section.
