Colin McRae: DIRT 2 is the sequel to the original game, and despite the tragic death of Colin McRae his name will continue as the title of the game with joint agreement between Codemasters and his family. It will feature a roster of contemporary off-road events, taking players to the diverse and challenging real-world environments. This World Tour will have players competing in multi-car and solo races at new locations, from canyon racing and jungle trails to city stadium-based events, and will also include a new multiplayer mode.
