Patches usually are made for a specific improvement. Please list what improvements can be gained by installing this patch.

I have to say that I downloaded the patch (v.1.13) and the games loads and works fine. Now able to change gear with the correct buttons on the steering wheel. Car now sustains more damage on hitting walls etc. I have a P111 500 and with the graphics turned full on, the game is a true classic. All it needs now is the upgrade to the 2000 season. And just to add, I downloaded the B17 patch and that works fine also. Must be down to individual PC setups/performance that are causing problems. – G.Brushwood -

I first bought EA's F1 2000 nad only good thing about this is the communication with the pit crews and Voice of Jim Rosenthaile. Everything else are s***!!! GP3 is the best game ever and only game which can beat GP3 will be GP4 by Geoff Crammond. – John -  

GP3 is the GREATEST EVER. I'm a GP1 - GP2 - GP3 fan and follower and love them all. I have d/l the patch to version 1.13 and do not understand the wheel calibration on it, and have gone back to the original version of GP3.

hmmm, perhaps as there are thousands of people happily patching and playing B17 and GP3 the problem may not be entirely with hasboro? maybe your pc needs a bit of tweaking. maybe both of your friends will have no problems at all with hasboro products... who knows???
one thing is for sure, I don't think hasboro will miss your custom, try a little perseverance as GP3 is a great game. anyway, why not just uninstall the game and patch and re-install it? – andy -
