Conclusion

It doesn't look like we are going to be getting any serious new Formula One simulation games on the PC for a few years to come, so for sim-racers the question is; how can I get the most out of what I've currently got? Part of the answer to this question is to invest in the TFS2 System from VRF Technologies.

At $239.95 the TFS2 unit isn't exactly cheap, but if you are looking for something that majorly increases the effect of immersion you feel while playing Grand Prix 4, then the TFS2 unit is something that you should definately consider buying. Besides, when you consider that you can easily spend over $100 on a decent force feedback wheel, the TFS2 unit, which I consider to be far superior to a wheel anyway, doesn't look that expensive in comparison. What's more, if you don't like the unit, the guys at VRF have a flexible "no quibbles" refund policy so its not as if all is lost.

Like eDimensional, VRF are keen to interact with their customers in such a way so that if you do have any problems or queries they are happy to answer e-mail and telephone questions promptly so that you can get the experience you want out of their product which is so much easier than having to wait in endless call queues, speaking to un-knowledgeable operators which appears to be the norm these days. Craig, my contact at VRF, and the inventor of the system, seems very intent on ensuring that purchasers of the TFS2 get what they expect out of the product, and it is great that there are still businesses out there that do seem to genuinely care.

So, if you are looking to increase your immersion levels while racing, an avid sim-racer, getting bored of standard force feedback effects, or are just looking for a great Christmas gift then the TFS2 Unit is definately for you. Visit Ivibe.com and order one now, I know you won't be dissapointed; I certainly wasn't.
