SimRacingWorld.com (SRW) offers content about sim racing computer games. The site is split into the following sections:
History
The SimRacingWorld Network was initially launched on 8 January 2001. The network is run and owned by Paul and John - Paul is content manager and John is in charge of web development.
The launch of SimRacingWorld was an amalgamation of GrandPrix1.com (founded in 1997) and F1-GRANDprix3.net (founded in 1999) but we also added F1RC and WSC sites. The sites were essentially independent but shared forums and a files site (then called Grand Prix Files).
On 13th June 2001 our fully integrated site was launched where all the sites were incorporated into the same design and with content stored in a database so it can all be updated easily.
Further changes occurred on 28th April 2003 when all the existing game sites were amalgamated together into one big SRW site with separate games profiles.
On 18th May 2008, we fully revamped and relaunched the site once more, with a new design and the addition of innovative new features such as our news "aggregator" which allows visitors to quickly check all of the sim-racing news from the web from our main site.
SRW is not really based anywhere in particular - it is hosted in Canada and both Paul & John are from the UK.
