Another thing I like about these glasses is the inclusion of pre-defined and configurable "hot keys". These are keyboard combinations (such as ALT+F4) which can be used while playing any game to tweak the settings of the stereoscopic view. If for example, you find that you don't like playing a particular game using the glasses you can simply hit ALT+T which will turn them off allowing you to play the game as per normal. Other things the Hot-Keys can do while playing, is allowing you to increase/decrease the stereo separation both horizontally and vertically (for a more or less 3D holographic image), toggle the resolution override, reset the stereoscopic image and more. All of these Hot Keys are listed in the manual and can be altered via the configuration menu.

Let's not forget that it is not just games that these glasses can be used with. They are designed to work with some movies, graphics, and even some specially designed web-sites exist for glasses such as these. With the backing of Nvidia, who supply the stereo drivers used in conjunction with these glasses, game developer support for them can only get larger with time, leading to a greater experience.

Conclusion

Overall, I have never felt so immersed and "part" of the game that I've been playing before wearing these glasses. Force feedback effects and complete surround sound don't even come close to the experience these glasses offer. As I've already said, it's true that they don't work in every single game there is, but they work extremely well in the majority with just a little bit of tweaking required the get the best experience in each game.

I don't think that I will be able to go back to playing games without these glasses in the future, simply because the sense of "being there" is lost without them.

It's a shame it is impossible to show you what games look like when wearing the glasses, you have to experience it for yourself, and at a price of just $69.95 for the wired version, and $99.95 for the wireless version these glasses represent excellent value for money.

I was also very impressed by the delivery times - taking just 2 days from USA to the UK via FedEx International, and I think that next day shipping is available within the US itself.

There's plenty of technical support available from the good natured and knowledgeable chaps at eDimensional if you run into any problems, and if you don't like the glasses they also have a flexible returns policy.

I highly recommend that you get yourselves a pair of these just to experience the unparalled immersion that they give in your favourite games, and I am confident that you would never want to go back to gaming without them, but of course if you don't like them you can always return them to eDimensional for a refund.

So, in conclusion, these glasses come with a highly recommended rating from the SimRacingWorld Network.
