Review of Logitech's Wingman Joystick Review

By Paul Tomlinson
9 January 2000

This is a hand held joystick sold by Logitech, who make PC peripherals. It has recently seriously entered the gaming market with the arrival of such products as the force feedback mouse. Whilst Logitech may not be a Microsoft at making joysticks, they have quite a good reputation, we will see if this is true.

Description

Logitech Wingman Joystick

As you can see from the photo, it has 9 programmable buttons, and a D-Pad, which is the big red button that you press in the direction you want to go.

It looks quite aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and is nice to hold - it fits naturally in your hands.

It is also quite cheap as well, but that is because it doesn't support rumble etc. - personally I don't mind. You also get a 1-year guarantee if anything goes wrong.
